SCHOOL FACILITIES

Madrelingua is situtated in a historic building in a typical porticoed street right in the centre of Bologna. It is 200 metres from Via Indipendenza, and less than five minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. That's us on the first floor - you can see our logo in the window!

Reception

This is the reception area. On the left side of the photo (not really visible..) there's an area for students to relax between lessons.

The video library

There's a great selection of DVDs and videos in English and in Italian. We have TVs with video/DVD in every classroom, as well as in the Study Centre, so if you want to relax and improve your listening skills at the same time, borrow a DVD or a video.

The Multimedia classroom

We have thirteen computers with internet access and educational software. These facilities can be used at any time, unless a teacher is using them with a class. We also have a WIFI system for internet access, so if you have a portable computer with a WIFI card you can bring it with you and use it to study or surf the net! Internet access is, of course, completely free for all of our students.

Our study centre

This is an area where you can study when you are not in class. There is a selection of reference books and fiction, a TV/DVD player, CD/tape player, and plenty of room to sit and study or read a magazine.
