Madrelingua Italian Courses in Bologna is run by Stefania Zamagni
who, along with her British husband, Daniel, is also the
owner of the school. Madrelingua was set up to exploit the strengths of this bi-lingual marriage: the school is used to teach
Italian to foreigners during the day (under Stefania's leadership), and to teach English to residents of Bologna in the afternoons
and evenings. Administration and marketing is shared, as are the attractive facilities, such as the multimedia room and the
library/study area.
The advantages of studying at a family-owned business are obvious. There's always someone to listen to you and help you if there's a problem. The owners have a personal stake in the success of your language learning, and what's more, as experienced language learners themselves, are always available to help guide you through the ups and downs of acquiring a foreign language, or offer a friendly word of advice.
Madrelingua doesn't spend a lot on advertising its Italian courses, preferring to remain a small, friendly school, and relying on ex-students, and on this Internet site, to spread the word. A high proportion of our clients return to us for a second or third course, and those who have studied at other Italian language schools previously tell us they are very satisfied with both the teaching methodology and with the school itself.
In addition to Stefania, Madrelingua Italian courses also employs other Italian teachers. While the nature of our business, which is very seasonal, means the number of teachers fluctuates from week to week and from season to season, we have found that we get the best results, in terms of customer satisfaction, by working as far as possible with the same trusted teachers. That way we are able to guarantee the quality of your course. Our team of freelance staff include:
